The Stage app (“App”) and website (“Site”) are run by STAGE TECHNOLOGY INC. a company established in Canada. (“Stage”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

The stage provides a mobile eCommerce platform based on the short-form video which created by the digital influencer to display relevant brand products to the most relevant potential buyers based on user preferences and other information submitted to it, which you can access via the App and through our website (“Service”).

You can scroll videos, search for products, log-in to your profile and view other profiles. The above information will also be visible to search engines, including but not limited to the videos that you post. When you use our Site or Service we will collect and process certain information about you. This Privacy Policy sets out how Stage collects, uses and shares information that identifies you or is associated with you (“personal information”). Our main goal in collecting such data is to provide you with a safe, efficient and personalized experience, and we will only collect information relating to you that we deem necessary for this purpose.

By setting up an account with us or using and accessing the Site or Service, you consent to the use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. You should also be aware that we use cookies to store and access information whilst providing the Site and Service.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect and process information you give us when you create an account and use the Platform. This includes technical and behavioral information about your use of the Platform. We also collect information about you if you download the app and use the Platform without creating an account.

Here are the types of personal information we collect:

Your Profile Information

You give us information when you register on the Platform, including your username, email address and/or telephone number, information you disclose in your user profile and your photograph or profile video.

User Content and Behavioral Information

We process the content you generate and view on the Platform, including preferences you set (such as choice of language), photographs and videos you upload, comments you make (“User Content”). We collect information through surveys, challenges and competitions in which you participate. We also collect information regarding your use of the Platform, e.g. how you engage with the Platform, including how often you use the Platform and how you interact with content we show you, the ads you view, videos you watch and problems encountered, the content you like, the content you save to “Favorites”, the words you search and the users you follow.

We infer your interests, gender, and age for the purpose of personalizing content. We also infer the interests of our users to better optimize advertising across our Platform. If you have consented, we will use this information for the purpose of serving personalized advertising.

We review User Content for content moderation purposes to enforce our community guidelines, comply with legal obligations, and prevent and respond to abuse, fraud, illegal activity and other potentially harmful content on the Platform.

We also process information about your followers, the likes you receive and responses to content you upload, for the purposes of personalizing your “For You” Feed, promoting your content to other users and exploring whether your profile presents opportunities for collaboration.

Messages

Where local laws allow us to, we collect and process your messages, which includes scanning and analyzing the information in those messages through the Platform’s messaging functionality. That information includes the content of the message and information about when the message has been sent, received and/or read, as well as the participants in the communication.

We do this to prevent and block spam, prevent and detect crime, safeguard children (where this is in the substantial public interest) or to protect the interests of our users and other people.

Please also be aware that messages sent to other users of the Platform will be accessible by those users and that we are not responsible for how those users use or disclose them.

Information from Third Parties

You may choose to share certain data with us from third parties or, through your use of the Platform, we may collect such third-party data automatically.

Business Partners

If you choose to register to use the Platform using your social media account details (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google), you will provide us or allow your social network to provide us with your username and public profile. We will likewise share certain information with the relevant social network such as your app ID, access token and the referring URL.

Technical Information we collect about you

We collect certain information from you when you use the Platform including when you are using the app without an account. Such information includes your IP address, instance IDs (which allow us to determine which devices to deliver messages to), mobile carrier, time zone settings, identifier for advertising purposes and the version of the app you are using. We will also collect information regarding the device you are using to access the Platform such as the model of your device, the device system, network type, device ID, your screen resolution and operating system, audio settings and connected audio devices. Where you log-in from multiple devices, we will be able to use your profile information to identify your activity across devices.

Information you provide to us

We collect information you provide us in response to a survey. If you respond to a Stage survey, your individual responses will be used for the purpose of the survey and will be shared with other organizations, as explained to you when you participate in a survey. We may also use aggregate data from these surveys in the same way.

We also collect information you provide to us in correspondence.

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies (e.g. pixels and ad tags) (collectively, “Cookies”) are small files which, when placed on your device, enable us to collect certain information, including personal data, from you in order to provide certain features and functionality. We and our service providers and business partners use Cookies to collect data and recognize you and your device(s) on the Platform and elsewhere across your different devices. We do this to better understand the effectiveness of the advertising on the Platform and to enhance your user experience.

How we use your personal data

We use your personal information to operate, provide, develop, and improve the products and services that we offer our customers. These purposes include:

.Transactions involving Third Parties:We make available to your services, products, applications, or skills provided by third parties for use on or through Stage Services. We also offer services or sell product lines jointly with third-party businesses, such as co-branded credit cards. You can tell when a third party is involved in your transactions, and we share customers’ personal information related to those transactions with that third party.

.Third-Party Service Providers:We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders for products or services, delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing payments, transmitting content, scoring, assessing and managing credit risk, and providing customer service. These third-party service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.

.Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other businesses or services. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that Stage or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

Protection of Stage and Others:We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Stage, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

How we share your personal data

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling our customers’ personal information to others. We share customers’ personal information only as described below and with subsidiaries Stage. controls that either are subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Policy.

We design our systems with your security and privacy in mind.

.We work to protect the security of your personal information during transmission by using encryption protocols and software.

.We follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) when handling credit card data.

.We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage, and disclosure of personal customer information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.

.Our devices offer security features to protect them against unauthorized access and loss of data. You can control these features and configure them based on your needs.

.It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computers, devices, and applications. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

How can you manage or delete information about you?

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services and Stage Products, or until your account is deleted – whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs.

When you delete your account, we delete things you have posted, such as your photos and status updates, and you won’t be able to recover that information later. Information that others have shared about you isn’t part of your account and won’t be deleted. If you don’t want to delete your account but want to temporarily stop using the Products, you can deactivate your account instead.

Your Rights

We offer you settings to control and manage the personal data we have about you.

You have the following rights:

.Access Your Data:You can ask us, free of charge, to confirm we process your personal data and for a copy of your personal data.

.Delete Your Data:You can ask us to delete all or some of your personal data.

.Change or Correct Data:You can ask us to change or fix your data. You can also make changes using the in-app controls and settings.

.Portability:You can ask for a copy of personal data you provided in a machine-readable form.

.Object or Restrict Use of Data and Withdraw Consent:You can ask us to stop using some or all of your data, e.g. if we have no legal right to keep using it. You can ask us to stop processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes; withdraw your consent or ask us to stop making any automatic individual decisions, including profiling. If you object to such processing, we ask you to share the reason for your objection in order for us to examine the processing of your personal data and to balance our legitimate interest in processing and your objection to this processing.

Before we can respond to a request to exercise one or more of the rights listed above, you may be required to verify your identity or your account details.

How will we notify you of changes to this policy?

We are constantly innovating, changing and improving the Services. We may also amend these Terms from time to time, for instance when we update the functionality of the Services, or when there are regulatory changes that impact these Terms or the Services.

We will provide reasonable advance notice such as through a notice on our Platform of any material modifications to these Terms or our Services that will materially disadvantage you or materially limit the access or usage of our Services. However, you should also look at the Terms regularly to check for such changes. We will also update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms, to reflect the effective date of the most recently updated version of the Terms. As we do not permit the use of the Services by persons who do not agree to comply with our Terms, your continued access or use of the Services after the date of the new Terms constitutes your acceptance of such new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop accessing or using the Services and close your account (if applicable).

For modifications to the Terms or to the Services that we need to make to meet security, safety, legal or regulatory requirements, we may not be able to notify you in advance, but we will let you know as soon as practicable.

The security of your personal data

We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, for example, by encryption, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted via the Platform, which means any transmission is at your own risk.

We have appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk that may be posed to you and other users. We maintain these technical and organizational measures and will amend them from time to time to improve the overall security of our systems.

We will, from time to time, include links to and from the websites of our partner networks. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any information to these websites.

Information relating to children

Stage does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use Stage Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian.

By using Stage Services, you agree to these conditions. Please read them carefully.

By registering, accessing or using the Services, you agree that you can, and are entering into a legally binding contract with Stage comprised of the Terms, that you are 13 years old or over and that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them.

.You must not be prohibited from receiving any aspect of our Service under applicable laws or engaging in payments related Services if you are on an applicable denied party listing.

.We must not have previously disabled your account for violation of law or any of our policies.

.You must not be a convicted sex offender.

.You can’t impersonate others or provide inaccurate information.

.You don’t have to disclose your identity on Stage, but you must provide us with accurate and up to date information (including registration information). Also, you may not impersonate someone you aren’t, and you can’t create an account for someone else unless you have their express permission.

.You can’t do anything unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent or for an illegal or unauthorized purpose.

.You can’t violate (or help or encourage others to violate) these Terms or our policies.

.You can’t do anything to interfere with or impair the intended operation of the Service.

.You can’t attempt to create accounts or access or collect information in unauthorized ways.

This includes creating accounts or collecting information in an automated way without our express permission.

.You can’t attempt to buy, sell, or transfer any aspect of your account (including your username) or solicit, collect, or use login credentials or badges of other users.

.You can’t post private or confidential information or do anything that violates someone else’s rights, including intellectual property.

Permissions You Give to Us

As part of our agreement, you also give us permissions that we need to provide the Service.

.We do not claim ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to use it.

Nothing is changing about your rights in your content. We do not claim ownership of your content that you post on or through the Service. Instead, when you share, post, or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights (like photos or videos) on or in connection with our Service, you hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content (consistent with your privacy and application settings). You can end this license anytime by deleting your content or account. However, content will continue to appear if you shared it with others and they have not deleted it.

.Permission to use your username, profile picture, and information about your relationships and actions with accounts, ads, and sponsored content.

You give us permission to show your username, profile picture, and information about your actions (such as likes) or relationships (such as follows) next to or in connection with accounts, ads, offers, and other sponsored content that you follow or engage with that are displayed on Facebook Products, without any compensation to you. For example, we may show that you liked a sponsored post created by a brand that has paid us to display its ads on Stage. As with actions on other content and follows of other accounts, actions on sponsored content and follows of sponsored accounts can be seen only by people who have permission to see that content or follow. We will also respect your ad settings.

.You agree that we can download and install updates to the Service on your device.

If you are accessing or using the Services on behalf of a business or entity, then (a) “you” and “your” includes you and that business or entity, (b) you represent and warrant that you are an authorized representative of the business or entity with the authority to bind the entity to these Terms, and that you agree to these Terms on the entity’s behalf, and (c) your business or entity is legally and financially responsible for your access or use of the Services as well as for the access or use of your account by others affiliated with your entity, including any employees, agents or contractors.

While we will always have a copy of our current Terms available on the Platform (including the “Last Updated” date), you should print off or save a local copy of the Terms for your records.

Additional Rights We Retain

.If you select a username or similar identifier for your account, we may change it if we believe it is appropriate or necessary (for example, if it infringes someone’s intellectual property or impersonates another user).

.If you use content covered by intellectual property rights that we have and make available in our Service (for example, images, designs, videos, or sounds we provide that you add to content you create or share), we retain all rights to our content (but not yours).

.You can only use our intellectual property and trademarks, or similar marks as expressly permitted by our Brand Guidelines or with our prior written permission.

.You must obtain written permission from us or under an open source license to modify, create derivative works of, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from us.

Privacy Policy Changes

We may amend or update this policy from time to time. If we believe that the changes are material, we’ll let you know by doing one (or more) of the following: (i) posting the changes on or through the Services, (ii) sending you an email or message about the changes, or (iii) posting an update in the version notes on the Apps’ platform.
